A visa to the Russian Federation is a document that allows you to stay in Russia for a specific period of time. The visa lists entry/exit dates, your name, passport details, and your purpose of travel. Please note that your Russian visa is an exit permit in the same way it is an entry permit: if you lose it or stay beyond your designated departure date, leaving the country could be more troublesome than entering it.
It is not possible to have two different valid Russian visas in your passport at one time. The consulate will invalidate the first visa in order to authorize the new, second one.
The tourist visa is a document which allows foreigners to travel to Russia as tourists. Such visas are issued for a maximum of 30 days and cannot be extended. A tourist visa is the best option when you know exactly where and how long you will be staying without diverting from your planned itinerary. For a tourist visa to Russia, you must have confirmed accommodation for every night of your stay in the country.
Important Information for citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of the former USSR, who used to live in the territory of the Russian Federation and immigrated after 6 February 1992.
According to part 6 of Federal Law "Regulation of exit from the Russian Federation and entrance to the Russian Federation" dated 15 August 1996, reference number 114-FL, citizens of the Russian Federation should verify this by valid documents proving the identity of such Russian citizens beyond the territory of the Russian Federation.
Russian Law regulations of entry state that this applies to citizens of the Russian Federation who also hold other citizenship. Therefore, to enter the territory of Russia, they must use only their own Russian passports. With regards to renewing Russian passports, Russian citizens are advised to contact the Consular department of the Russian Embassy in United Arab Emirates.
In view of the changes to the Federal Law "On the procedure of entering and leaving the Russia Federation" of 15 August 1996 No. 114-FL effective from 12 March 2010, applications will be accepted from citizens of the Russian Federation lawfully staying in the UAE, to issue visas for members of their families who are foreign nationals (spouses, children under the age of 18, incapacitated children of any age) to enable them to enter the territory of the Russian Federation accompanied by the citizen of the Russia Federation who signed the visa request form. Applications can only be submitted in person at the Russian Visa Application Centre for the issuance of a single entry/double entry private visa effective for up to 3 months. The minimum time for processing such applications is 5 working days.

Yes. Russia’s Unified e-Visa is single-entry, valid 60 days, and allows a maximum stay of 16 days. It’s filed 40–4 days before travel and is processed in up to 4 calendar days. Critically, no invitation letter or hotel booking is required for the e-Visa; we handle the online application, timing, and required travel medical insurance for you.
We’ll confirm your eligibility and match the e-Visa to your exact entry point and dates. If your plan needs more than 16 days, multiple entries, or specific business activities, we’ll steer you to the appropriate regular (sticker) visa instead and submit it for you.

My girlfriend is taking me to see her family in St Petersburg. The relationship has reached that stage. But the Russian evisa system is not working properly even though my country is on the list. It kept saying that my passport number should not begin with the letter V, but that’s what it is. Passport issued by Indian consulate in Dubai. Given the problematic situation in that region, I thought to go sooner rather than later and my girlfriend also had to go and close up some stuff back home. I searched on google and found Green Apple. My girlfriend also contacted her visa agent. I messaged Sajjad on WhatsApp from the website. He respond to my request immediately. He gave me the exact requirements, which were much simpler than what I was told by my girlfriend’s visa agent. They just wanted my passport with uae visa stamp at least 3 months validity and a photo. The price was also lower than what I was quoted by the other competitor. Sajjad sent his guy to collect my passport the same day. I booked our flights straight away on emirates. I received my visa reliably and quickly delivered to my doorstep in one week, as promised. I paid cash and never had to step out or worry about a thing. Flying out next week. Hope things go well.

Google needs to update their review system for this company, 5 stars is too less for their service. From moment 1 that I contacted this company I was amazed by their customer centric approach. Ali, our agent, was helpful in every step. Also they were able to do things that I couldn't do myself in the embassy. Less than 5 days we received the Russian visa. And this without any action from our side. They came and pickup the passports, filled in all documents and when it was completed they brought the passports back to our home.
